I have been involved in the Buell story since almost the beginning.

" I met Erik in about 1984. He had a AMA Formula 750 race bike in his garage that he had built (the RW750) and he couldn’t understand why magazine editors didn’t return his phone calls. I helped put a PR package together. We were fortunate that Cycle magazine responded with a major feature article and that sort of got the whole thing moving."

"I worked on the PR end of things as a consultant than on 1990 got a chance to work as an employee in the old Quonset hut in Mukwonago. I continued with the PR but also did sales, customer service and buying, pretty much anything that had to get done I did. Except for some reason they never let me near any wrenches, I think they were afraid I might hurt myself."

"Not currently employed by Buell I work as a computer geek and try to ride my bikes as much as possible. I am married and have a four year old daughter."
